Features
ADJUSTMENT OF ENGINE PERFORMANCE. With the help of STIHL ECOSPEED, you can regulate the engine speed as required and adapt your tool’s performance to the job at hand. Where applicable, this results in lower fuel consumption and quieter operation. Additionally, this function can reduce the tendency for cuttings and stones to be flung out during mowing.
FOR UNRESTRICTED WORK. The water transport container can be used as the water supply if there is no water connection available. It holds up to 20 litres of water and can be sealed watertight for transport by car.
QUICK ASSEMBLY OF KOMBITOOLS.Thanks to the quick-release coupling, the various KombiTools for your tool can be connected and disconnected quickly and without tools.
HIGHLY POWER-EFFICIENT. With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.
EFFORTLESS STARTING.STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.
RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.
FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.
RELIABLE STARTING. The electronic ignition system ensures reliable starting and trouble-free engine running. The high ignition voltage of the fully enclosed ignition system ensures a stable ignition spark and a long spark burn time. This also improves fuel combustion and reduces exhaust emissions.
FOR COMFORTABLE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE. Thanks to the detachable shaft, you can quickly dismantle your tool for easier transport, and also store it in a space-saving manner. You do not need any tools to disassemble the shaft.
